Wanda Darlene Dabbs

Darlene was born April 26, 1958, in Searcy, Arkansas, to Onus and Wanda Sue Hill. She met the love of her life, Larry Dabbs, at the age of 15. He joined the military, they married, and he took her around the world. They had their daughter, SueAnn, and moved to Germany, where their son, Nathan, was born. 

She loved gardening, camping and spending time with her family. She devoted her time to serving the Lord and others. She never met a stranger, and her smile could light up a room. 

She loved her husband and her children,, and her grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Larry Dabbs; her daughter, SueAnn (Shaun) Sanders; her son, Nathan (Ashley) Dabbs; her mother, Wanda Sue Hill; her brother, Ricky (Vivian) Hill; and her beloved grandchildren: Aubrey Sanders, Payton Harp, Parker Dabbs, and Jaxson Dabbs. 

She was proceeded in death by her father, Onus Hill, and her mother-in-law, Nancy Peace. 

The family will receive visitors Thursday, September 11th from 6-8 PM at Cole Funeral Home in Kensett, AR. The funeral will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at Connect Assembly Church in Kensett, AR with burial to follow at Kensett Cemetery.
