Sylvia Maldonado

Sylvia Maldonado, 59, had her heavenly homecoming on March 20, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marcelo Maldonado Sr. She is survived by her children, Marcelo Maldonado Jr. and Leonor April Maldonado. She is also survived by her mother, Teodora Pequeño; her brother, Pedro Pequeño Jr.; and her sisters, Flora Angeles (Edgar Angeles), Irene Pequeño, Irma Guzman (Joaquin Guzman), and Celia P Goff (Robert Goff). Sylvia is further survived by a large and loving extended family across Texas and Oregon.

Sylvia was born in Silverton, Oregon, on March 8th 1967 and was a longtime resident of Vilonia, Arkansas. She was a devoted member of New Life Pentecostal Church and found great joy in her faith and community. Sylvia had a deep love for crafts of all kinds and was incredibly talented, often sharing her creations with those she loved.

A visitation with her family will be held on Tuesday, March 24th 2026 from 5-7pm and a memorial service on Wednesday, March 25 2026 beginning at 10am. Both will be taking place at New Life Pentecostal Church, located at 1243 Main St, Vilonia, AR 72173.
