Shelby Gerald Hunter, a cherished resident of Searcy, Arkansas, was born on April 14, 1946, and passed away peacefully on September 20, 2025. He was a good Christian man whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew him.

Shelby was known for his love of life, sailing through it as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He kept a close bond with his family, which included his devoted wife, Cathy Hunter; his sons, Wyatt Hunter and Wade Hunter; and his daughter, Michelle Morrison.
