Scott Anthony "Bear" Harris

Scott Anthony Bear Harris, age 45 of Rison, died Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at his home. He was born October 18, 1963 in Pine Bluff, a son of Marion Harris and Carolyn Elder Harris. Mr. Harris graduated from Pine Bluff High School and Southern Arkansas University. He was a member of Green Meadows Baptist Church in Pine Bluff.

Mr. Harris is survived his wife, Joni Lunsford Harris of Rison whom he married on May 9, 2007; parents, Marion Harris, Carolyn Harris both of Pine Bluff; two sons, Jason Harris of Star City, Harley Harris of May Flower; two daughters, Amber Smith of Pine Bluff, Ashley Adams of Rison; one brother, Randall Harris of Pine Bluff; one grandson, Noah Spakes; father and mother-in-law, Tommy and Mary Lunsford of Rison; two brothers-in-law, Scott and Randy Lunsford of Rison; sister-in-law, Pam Lunsford of Rison.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2009, at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870) 325-6216.
