Sarah Almeda Weeks

Sarah Almeda Weeks, age 80, of Kingsland went to be with the Lord, Thursday, September 11, 2014. She was born July 25, 1934 in Vaughn, New Mexico a daughter of the late George Lester Oller and Myrtle Burton Oller Sowells. Mrs. Weeks was a member of Kingsland First Baptist Church and for many years worked as a beautician. Other than her parents, Mrs. Weeks is preceded in death by two brothers, George Oller and John Oller. Mrs. Weeks is survived by a beloved stepfather and loved grandpa, Emmet Sowells; her husband of 63 years, Billy George Weeks of Kingsland; one son, Bill Weeks and wife Debbie of Lucerne, California; one daughter, Jane Etta Ridge and husband Ron of Taylorsville, California; three sisters, Peggy Griffin of Denver, Colorado, Alice Sims of Overton, Texas and LaNora Workman of Palo Cedro, California; one brother, Ronnie Sowells of Lucerne, California; five grandchildren, Bobie Morris and husband Rob, Barbie Zavala and partner Bryan, Beverly Gatlin and husband Bo, Jennifer McGlyn and partner Vittal, and Erin Lal and husband Danny; and ten great grandchildren.
