Sandra Mcrae

Sandra Arden McRae, age 73, of Rison, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 11, 2013. She was born February 4, 1940 in Avon Park, Florida, a daughter of the late William Grady Fowler Sr. and Anna Clare Moore Fowler. Mrs. McRae was a homemaker and a retired school cafeteria cook. She was a member of the "Y" E. H. Club. Mrs. McRae was also preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Fowler; three sisters, Joyce Newbern, Pat Pate, and June Pilgrim. Mrs. McRae is survived by her husband, James McRae of Rison, whom she married on September 20, 1957; son, James Coy McRae Jr. and wife, Jacqueline of Boswell, Oklahoma; daughter, Belinda Stewart of Rison; brother, William Grady Fowler Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia; sister, Dale Humphries of Camilla, Georgia; three grandchildren, Chris Mitchell of Pine Bluff, Wendy Mitchell of Arlington, Texas, Sara Mae McRae of Tucumcari, New Mexico; and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 23, 2013 at Buie Funeral Home with Reverend John Bean officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Buie Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870) 325-6216.
