Samantha Elayne Poole

Samantha Elayne Poole, age 30 of Woodlawn, was killed on March 14, 2014 in Monticello, Arkansas. She was born December 28, 1983, in San Antonio, TX. She was a resident of Cleveland County, graduating from Woodlawn High School in 2002. Samantha completed pharmacy technician courses at Kaplan College in San Antonio, but most recently was working at a jewelry/accessory store in Pine Bluff. Samantha is survived by her daughter, Karmyn Elayne Ivey; mother and father Terry and J. Nathan Bearden, all of Cleveland County; aunt and cousin, Melanie Shahan and Bradley Hunt, both of Schertz, TX; her daughter's father, Anton Ivey of San Antonio, TX; best friend, Lindsey Purifoy of Cleveland County; honorary sister, Jennifer Irvin of Orangevale, CA; grandparents; step-grandparents; and many other relatives and friends. Samantha was preceded in death by her brother, B.J. Poole. A candlelight vigil will be 7:43 p.m. Friday, March 21 at the Woodlawn Community Center on U.S. Hwy 63, Rison, to pray for justice.
