Ruby Mitchell King

Ruby Mitchell King, age 71 of Springdale, formally of Rison, died, Thursday, July 21, 2011 at her home. She was born June 11, 1940 in Kingsland, a daughter of the late T. O. Mitchell and Florence McMurtrey Mitchell. Mrs. King retired from Tyson Foods after thirty years of service and was a member of Rison Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin King; son, Michael King; brother, Bob Mitchell; sisters, Dorothy Weeks and Janette Mitchell.

Mrs. King is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Dewayne and Jennifer King, Donnie and Charlotte King, all of Fayetteville, Randy and Susan King of Nashville; three brothers, Bill Mitchell of Fordyce, Thomas Mitchell of Kingsland and Harold Mitchell of Pine Bluff; three sisters, Margaret Clemons of Tyler, Texas, Linda Jones of Kingsland and Kathy Harris of Pine Bluff; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services are 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Rison Baptist Church with Brother Wade Totty officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
