Ruby Jean Glover, a beloved member of her family and community, passed away on February 27, 2026, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born on December 24, 1939, in Dyess, Arkansas, Ruby led a life rich in love, laughter, and cherished moments.
Ruby was known for her culinary skills, often gathering family and friends around the table where her delicious cooking brought everyone together. Her passion for cooking was only matched by her love for her family. Ruby was dedicated to her loved ones, delighting in the joys of life and sharing countless memories filled with warmth and affection.
An avid fan of game shows, Ruby enjoyed their lighthearted competition and often spent evenings immersed in her favorite shows. Her warm spirit extended beyond her home as she actively participated in her community, attending New Life Baptist Church, where her faith played an essential role in her life.
Ruby's family meant everything to her. She is survived by her loving husband, James Davis; daughter Becky Mansfield (Jerry); grandchildren Tiffany Willis (Dustin), Jennifer Teeter (Brooks), Stacey Boone (Donald), and Dakota Mansfield; numerous great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild who will carry her memory in their hearts.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, William Fritts and Lela Bowen; her son Kenneth Glover; her late husband Wayne Glover; and her grandson Jason Fredick. Each of these individuals remained an integral part of Ruby's life, and she cherished the memories shared with them throughout her days.
Ruby Jean Glover will be laid to rest at New Rosemont Cemetery in Benton, Arkansas, with burial services scheduled for March 14, 2026, beginning at 1:00 PM. The legacy of her kindness, generosity, and loving spirit will endure in the stories shared and the lives she touched. Her family invites all who knew and loved her to celebrate the remarkable life of Ruby Jean Glover.
