Roy James Walton

Roy James Walton age 79 of Leola, died Saturday, August 14, 2010 at his residence. He was born December 3, 1930 in Dalark, a son of the late Lewis Walton and Irene Langley Walton. Mr. Walton was a retired sawmill worker and was of the Assembly of God faith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors.

Survivors include his children; two sons, Paul (Terri) Walton of Sheridan and Roy Edward (Butch) Walton, formally of Arkansas; one daughter, Shelia (Jimmy) Murberger of Malvern; one brother, Teddy Walton of the Round Hill Community; grandchildren, Jami Walton, Kristen Murberger, Jeffrey Murberger, Tara Walton and three great grandchildren; two nieces, Penny Chidester of Poyen and Roxieanne Foster of Alabama.

Memorial Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Buie Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Brother Keith Foster officiating.Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan. (870 9423231).
