Robert Lee Price

Robert Lee Price age 70, of Star City, died Monday, September 22, 2008. He was born May 9, 1938 in Cleveland County, a son of the late Artis S. and Martha Jean Brown Price. Mr. Price served in the Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a self employed carpenter and a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Price enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also preceded in death by one grandson, Bobby Lee Price Kelley; three sisters, Margaret Price Saunders, Sammie Price and Martha Price Downey.

Mr. Price is survived by two sons, Russell Kelley of Star City, Joseph Price; two daughters and son-in-law, Marie and Troy Lindsey of Star City, Tammy Cantrell; two sisters, Jo Ella York of Rison, Mary Jane Garrett of White Hall; ten grandchildren, Rodney Cantrell, Joey Cantrell, Brandon Kelley, Shelby Mitcham, Annie Mitcham, Robert Williams, Brittany Hallum, Justin Lindsey, Sophia Lindsey and Michael Lindsey; one great grandson, Josh Bennett; mother of his children, Glenda June Price of Clearwater, California.

Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday September 25, 2008, at Buie Funeral Chapel with Brother Don Breshears officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery near Glendale. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at Buie Funeral Home. Arrangements by Buie Funeral Home in Rison (870) 325-6216.
