Pine Bluff

Raymond Dyer Epnett, born on July 6, 1958, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025. He was a dedicated family man and a cherished member of the community, leaving behind a legacy of love and fond memories.

Raymond's passions were as vibrant as his spirit. He found immense joy in racing fourwheelers, fishing, hunting, and camping, indulging in these pursuits with enthusiasm. His greatest delight, however, was spending time with his beloved daughter, Tabitha, who was the pride and joy of his life. Their bond was a testament to the love he carried for his family.

Raymond is survived by his devoted wife, Rhonda Epnett of 25 years; His loving daughter, Tabitha Epnett, along with his brother, Beau Epnett, and sister-in-law, Lorretta of TX, also carry his memory forward. He is further survived by his sisters Marie Annette Epnett-Murphy and her husband Patrick of WI, Riki Epnett of WI, and Ramona Garganeous. He took great care in nurturing his family ties, evident in the warmth he shared with his sons, Steven Waschalk and David Waschalk, along with daughter-in-law Jessica. He is also survived by many grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Though he will be deeply missed, Raymond is reunited with those who have preceded him in death, including his mother, Joan Mier, and father, Felix Dewayne Epnett. He also mourns the loss of his nephew, Christopher Murphy, stepson, Josh Waschalk, and brother-in-law, Lt. Jerry Garganeous.

As we remember Raymond Dyer Epnett, we celebrate a life filled with adventure, love, and devotion to family. His spirit will continue to inspire all who knew him, and his memory will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those he touched.
