Patsy was born on 25 Jan 1930 in Doniphan, White County, Arkansas. She died 15 May 2026 at the age of 96. She was the daughter of Winfred and Leda Stevens Taylor. She Married Buton Carol Scott on the 18 Oct 1948 in White County Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 65 years, daughter Patricia Carol Stracener, sister Lavern Gray, brother William Taylor.
She is survived by her five grandchildren, Scott Phillips (Carly), Josh Phillips, DJ Stracener Jr., Rachel Lynn Dennis (Trenton), John Daniel Stracener and two great grandchildren, Evelyn Phillips and Carter Stracener.
She was a faithful member of the Kensett Baptist Church.
She was a lifelong resident of Kensett, Arkansas and worked in the Kensett Bank and Simmons Banks for 60+ years. “I have never met a kinder banker than Patsy. She truly lives the golden rule and our customers and associates love her.” -Brooks Davis
