Melissa Nichoalds

Melissa "Lisa" Ritter Nichoalds, 63, of Vilonia, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2025. She was surrounded by loved ones who cherished her deeply.

Lisa was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Though she did not have any children of her own she had the heart and soul of a mother. Her love radiated outward, especially toward her many nieces and nephews, whom she adored as if they were her own. Whether it was cheering from the sidelines, planning surprise birthday scavenger hunts, or simply just being there, Lisa made each child feel special and profoundly loved.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents David and Delores Ritter and her brother Mark Ritter.

She is survived by her brother James (Cathy) Ritter of Vilonia, Steve (Mary) Ritter of Conway and sister Angel Ritter of Vilonia.

Lisa’s love lives on in the stories we tell, the lives she touched, and the laughter she leaves behind. She may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.

A memorial will be held, at 11am, on August 16th at Cole Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas with family visitation following directly after the service. In lieu of flowers we encourage you to plant wildflowers, in Lisa’s memory, to help save the bees and butterflies.
