Mary Lou Rohde

Mary Lou Rohde, 65, of Vilonia, Arkansas, passed away on July 19, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Born on June 4, 1960, to Troy and Hazel Weatherley (Robinson), Mary was a force—vibrant, bold, and unapologetically herself. She lit up every room with her bright personality and beautiful smile. She had a no-nonsense attitude and a heart that fiercely loved those closest to her.

She never met a stranger and made everyone feel welcome. Mary was strong-willed, often stubborn, and completely unforgettable.

Mary began her career as a cosmetologist, working alongside her sister Sharon, creating beauty and building friendships in the process. She later joined Friedman’s Jewelers where she spent many years selling jewelry, a role where her charm and quick wit made her a natural. She later ended her career as a collections agent at Ally Financial.

She is survived by her husband, John Rohde; mother, Hazel Weatherley; brother, Mark Padgett; sister, Sharon Bulice (Harvey); daughter, Amanda Howard (Jason); and grandchildren, Kenzie and Blake Howard. She also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, Troy Weatherley and her beloved son, Brian Sherrod Jr.

She was bold. She was bright. She was unforgettable.
