Margaret Lee Millikin

Margaret Lee Millikin, 87, of Vilonia, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on March 11, 2026. She was born on October 22, 1938, the daughter of the late Marion and Addie Lee. Margaret was united in marriage to Jerry Bob Millikin on December 23, 1959. To this union twin daughters and two sons were born. Preceding her death was her husband Jerry in 2005. Margaret is survived by 2 daughters: Judy Thomas and husband Wayde of Forrest City, Arkansas and Janet O’Connor of Scottsdale, Arizona; and 2 sons: Mark Millikin and wife Rebecca of Vilonia, Arkansas and Jacob Millikin and wife Dana of Batesville, Arkansas; 7 grandchildren: Steven and Seth Thomas, Delaney Jeude, Joshua and wife Madi, Abigail, Wyatt and Lauren Millikin. She is also survived by two sisters and their husbands: Linda and Troy Bateson of Vilonia, Arkansas and Pamela and Kevin Douglas of Texarkana, Texas. She leaves behind brothers and sisters-in-law; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and countless brothers and sisters in Christ.

Margaret served as a pastor’s wife for 46 years. During this time, she served in many capacities such as teaching Vacation Bible School, nursery director and wherever needed- she loved serving others. In addition to being a full time pastor’s wife, she worked a full time job as a medical technologist in the labs of various clinics and hospitals. In December 2006 Margaret retired from the Baptist Hospital in Heber Springs, Arkansas. 

For the past 20 years, Margaret has been a member of the First Baptist Church in Vilonia, Arkansas. During this time, she served in the Awana program on Wednesday nights and volunteered at the Vilonia Senior Citizen's Center. 

Margaret was always a loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She will be greatly missed by all of us! Our Yellow Rose of Texas!!

Memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church in Vilonia, Arkansas on Saturday, April 4th, 2026. Visitation will be at 10:00 am and service will begin at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the GoMissions Fund at First Baptist Church in Vilonia, Arkansas in memory of her.
