Marcus Loyd Martindale was born March 05, 1940 and parked his truck on June 12, 2026. He was raised in Ellisville, Arkansas and spent his adult life in Rison. He is survived by his wife of almost 67 years,Betty Lou West Martindale.

He is also survived by two children: Frances Connor (Greg) of Rison, Beth Brown (Jerry) of Rison; five grandchildren: Shaunta Rauls, and Nikki Jenkins (Brian) of Rison; Jonathan White (Amy) of Marion, LA; Zachary White (Salina) of Woodlawn; Michael White (Ginger) of Little Rock; three step-grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; five siblings: Charles Martindale, Gene Martindale, Nell Rogers, Mary Clark, Watheda Hollis, and Juanita Garner, and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Harmon Gaston "Jim" Martindale and Mary

Louise Crowder Martindale; his son, Michael Martindale; his twin brother, Clifton; and siblings: Alma Ruth Poore, Virginia Cullins, and Leonard Martindale.

He spent his life providing for his family and drove for Martindale Trucking until he was 82 years old. He loved fishing, watching westerns, napping in the recliner with his dog Rollie, and spending time with his family. He was a true cowboy and was tough until his last breath.

Memorial services will be 5:30 PM, Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Rison Church of Christ.
