Loraine Sipes

Loraine Vinson Sipes, age 97 of  Sheridan, Arkansas passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Saline Memorial Hospital, Benton, Arkansas.  She was born and raised in Cleveland County.  A daughter of the late Alexander A. Vinson and Minnie Lee Roberts Vinson.  She graduated from Woodlawn High School.  She was a retired LPN of Bradley County Hospital, Warren, Arkansas.  She was a member of Gardner Methodist Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas.  Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bacel  Sipes; brothers, William Alex Vinson and James Davis Vinson, both of Dallas, Texas; sister, Mildred Vinson Patrick of Calmer, Arkansas.

She is survived by son, Clinton Sipes and wife, Vickie Ewing Sipes of  Sheridan, Arkansas; granddaughter, Salley Sipes of Little Rock, Arkansas.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with William Paul Woolley officiating. Interment will follow at Rowell Cemetery.  Visitation will be 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at the funeral home.  Funeral arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of  Rison.  Please sign the online guestbook at www.buiefuneralhome.com.
