Lois Dean Lawrence

Lois Dean Lawrence, aged 90, of Rison, Arkansas, peacefully passed away on April 19, 2025. Born on January 23, 1935, in Scranton, Arkansas, Lois was a vibrant individual who embodied faith and family throughout her life.

Lois dedicated herself to her church and was a deeply spiritual person, finding joy in reading the Bible and participating in church activities. Her love for crossword puzzles kept her mind sharp and engaged, allowing her to enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Above all, Lois cherished her time spent with family, creating lasting memories that will be carried on by her loved ones.

She is warmly remembered by her sister, Francis McLarty, her daughter, Geraldine Sullivant, and her granddaughter, Rachel Parker. Lois leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will hold dear the moments they shared with her.

Lois is preceded in death by her father, William "Bill" Thompson, her mother, Alice Belle Thompson, her brother, Edward Eugene Thompson, and her sister-in-law, Barbara Thompson. The legacy of love and faith that Lois instilled in her family will live on in their hearts and actions forever. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.
