Lisa Kay Handley, 49, of Leola, Arkansas, found eternal peace on February 26, 2026, with her beloved, Shannon Stone, and their faithful dogs Todd and Ellie by her side. Lisa was born on February 1, 1977, in Malvern, Arkansas, to Linda Kay (Mosley) Chance and Michael Handley.
Lisa lived life boldly and with a heart full of love. She had a larger-than-life personality and a laugh that could light up a room. She loved her friends fiercely, cherished animals, especially her dogs, Ellie and Harley, and treasured her family above all else. A protector by nature, Lisa would face any giant without fear when it came to the people she loved.
She found peace in fishing, coloring, and being outdoors, and she always had a soft spot for the underdog. Lisa was a loved mother, a devoted daughter, and a proud grandma. She spent her last years taking care of her mother and stepfather Julius Chance, reconnecting with lost friends, and finding things she enjoyed.
Lisa was never materialistic and never worried about what others thought. She lived honestly, loved deeply, and stayed true to herself. Her strength, humor, and compassion will be remembered by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Kay Chance; her father, Michael Handley; her paternal grandparents, Ruby (Keller) and Simmie
Handley; her maternal grandfather, Richard Edison Mosley; and her uncles, Kenny and Eddie Mosley and many other loved family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Austin (Wittney) Handley; her daughter, Makayla (Timothy) Coyde; her grandchildren, Colt, Cayson, Cadence Handley, and Braxton and Bentleigh Coyde; her siblings, Shawn Handley and Chris Griffith; her stepfather, Julius Chance; her uncle, Ricky Mosley; her beloved dog, Harley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends, who will miss her dearly.
Lisa’s life was one of loyalty, courage, and unconditional love. She will be missed more than words can express and remembered forever by those who were lucky enough to know her.
