Larry Fremont Eudy

Larry F. Eudy, 74, of Kensett, Arkansas, was born on April 26, 1952. He lived a life defined by service, hard work, love for his family, and a generous heart. Larry went to be with Lord on July 7, 2026 leaving behind countless memories that will be cherished by all who knew him.
Larry proudly served his country in the United States Navy for six years, including service during the Vietnam War. His dedication to his country was matched only by his unwavering commitment to his family and community.

A gifted and dedicated musician, Larry found joy in sharing his love of music with others. He was also an avid sports enthusiast and athlete who spent many years coaching Little League sports, investing his time and encouragement in the lives of countless young people. Larry genuinely loved children and believed they were one of life's greatest blessings. Whether coaching a game, sharing a laugh, or dressing as Santa Claus during Christmas, he had a special way of making every child feel loved and important.

Larry never shied away from hard work and had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time in nature. He also looked forward each year to decorating for Halloween and Christmas, bringing smiles to family, friends, and neighbors alike with his festive spirit.

Above all, Larry loved his family. He shared ten wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Artie Gateley, and treasured every moment spent with those he loved.

Larry is survived by his wife, Artie Gateley; his children, Kim and Chris; his stepdaughter, Tabitha Taylor and her husband, Patrick; his stepson, Colby Brackenridge and his wife, Lauren; grandchildren Linley and Cole of Searcy, Natalie and Noah of Hawaii, and Chris Jr. and Lillian; his sisters, Beatrice Griffin, Betty Sue Churchwell, and Jeannie Eudy; his brothers, Willard Eudy, Phillip Eudy and his wife, Nina, and Lewis Eudy Jr. of Florida; his nephew, Alex Eudy and his wife, Tiffany, along with their children, Jordan and Will; and a host of cherished nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bythie Beatrice Eudy and William Fremont Eudy; his brother, Jim Eudy; and his sisters, Mildred Crow and Carrie Vaughn.

Larry's kindness, strength, generosity, and love for children will forever be remembered. The lives he touched through his service, music, coaching, and unwavering love for family leave a legacy that will continue for generations. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.

A memorial service to celebrate Larry's life will be announced at a later date.
