Kevin Dale Hambel

Kevin Dale Hambel, age 48, leaves behind a family and friends who will forever cherish the time they shared with him.

Kevin built his career working with computers, a field that perfectly reflected his sharp mind, curiosity, and natural talent for solving problems. He was incredibly intelligent and enjoyed learning, always eager to understand how things worked and to share his knowledge with others.

One of Kevin’s greatest joys was spending time with family and friends. He loved game nights, where laughter, friendly competition, and togetherness created memories that will be treasured for years to come. He also loved meaningful conversations and thoughtful debates, never missing an opportunity to explore different perspectives or dive deep into a topic that sparked his interest.

Kevin had a special appreciation for wolves, admiring their beauty, strength, and loyalty. They represented qualities he respected and were a symbol of something he deeply connected with throughout his life.

Kevin will be remembered for his brilliant mind, quick wit, generous heart, and the genuine connections he built with those around him. His wisdom, humor, and love for the people in his life leave behind a legacy that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Clarence and Opal Hambel, and L. Dale and Lois Rice.

He is survived by his parents Lester and Patricia Hambel; his brother Lester (Megan) Hambel; his wife Jamie Hambel; his son Dolen Michael Rios; his daughters Maeghan Ausburn, Savannah Mobbs, and Amber Grimm; his grandson Rennan; his nephew Emerson; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void, his memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

A service will be held at Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church (1802 US-64 El Paso, AR 72045). Brother John Powers will be leading the service at 2 PM on Saturday July 11, 2026. All friends, family, and loved ones are welcome to join.
