Josephine Nellie Reed

Josephine Nellie Reed, 50, of Judsonia went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 15, 2026. She was born July 27, 1976, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Harold and Nancy (Henson) Reed. She graduated from Bald Knob High School and spent many years working as a CNA. She enjoyed fishing, gospel music and reading her bible. Josephine will always be remembered as a loving daughter, sister and aunt. She lived her life in accordance with the values of her Baptist faith. Her love of Jesus and his holy word were the guiding principles of her life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children; sister, Brenda Reed and brothers, Charlie and Elmo Wombles.

Left to carry on her legacy are siblings Lucy Hicks (Danny Laire) of Searcy, Debbie Reed of Indiana, Rick Reed of Scotland, Danny Reed (Derenda) of Bald Knob, David Reed of Indiana, Edmond Reed of Judsonia and Robert Wombles (Gail) of Kentucky. Other survivors include several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
