Johnny Haer, a devoted family man and skilled construction worker, passed away on July 27, 2025, in Searcy, Arkansas. He was born on August 13, 1950, in Pangburn, Arkansas, where he laid down the roots of a life filled with hard work, laughter, and love.
Johnny dedicated his career to the construction industry, where his attention to detail and strong work ethic made him a trusted figure among his colleagues and clients. He was proud to build not only structures but also lasting relationships in his community.
Beyond his career, Johnny had a passion for life that extended into various hobbies, including playing in an adult softball league and enjoying time at the casino. However, his greatest joy came from being with his family. He cherished the moments spent with his beloved grandchildren, Brendon Haer and Sydney Davis (Josh), as well as his great-grandchildren, Cooper Ghent, Wrenley Davis, and Carter Davis.
Johnny is survived by his sister, Wanda Morris (Milton), brother, Tommy Haer, sisters, Ladonna Hembree (Michael), and half-brother, Johnny Smith. He leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will remember his generous spirit and warm smile.
He is predeceased by his father, Carlos Haer, his mother, Lucille Haer, and his son, Bryan Haer. Johnny’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him, reminding us all of the importance of family and friendship.
