Rison
John I. Hartley, age 86, of Rison went to be with his Lord on Thursday, September 10, 2020. He was born January 16, 1934 to Martha Ellen Hartley. He was a member of Freehill Freewill Baptist Church in Herbine. He worked in the cotton fields, harvested corn, and for many years he mowed cemeteries. He was preceded in death by his uncle, John S. Hartley who raised him.
He is survived by his uncle, Cecil Hartley and his wife Beth and numerous cousins.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 14, 2020 at Shady Grove Cemetery in Glendale.
