John Henry Cope

John Henry Cope, 89, of Pine Bluff passed away August 6, 2025. Born November 9, 1935 to the late Henry H. and Lena A. Smith Cope in Calmer, Arkansas. John worked most of his life as a truck driver for Pine Bluff Sand and Gravel. In his free time, he enjoyed music, but working hard was his passion.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Judy Cope; siblings Robert Cope, Joe Cope, Virgina Fountain; granddaughter Rhonda Cope along with several other family members and friends.

Preceding him in death are his wife Ruby Cope; daughter Wand Cope; siblings Havis Cope, Henry H. Cope Jr., Eva Cope, and Betty Cope.

Graveside services will be Monday August 11, 2025 at Shady Grove Cemetery in Glendale.
