Jody Richard Beard

Jody Richard Beard, of Vilonia, Arkansas, was born March 27, 1969, and passed away on September 3, 2026.

Jody loved Jesus and was a hard worker. He loved fishing, hunting, and playing with his grandchildren. He loved animals, especially his dogs and sheep. He will be remembered for his love for children, animals, and life.

He is survived by his father, William Beard (Shelley) of Vilonia; his mother, Nannette Ramsey of Conway; his sisters, Betsy Huett of Vilonia, Amy (Mike) Sutton of Vilonia, Lori (Larry) Tedford of Illinois, and Alicia (Dino) Huskonvick of Vilonia; his sons, Jody (Gianna) Beard of Vilonia and Thomas Christopher Beard of Oppelo; as well as four grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert and Bertha (Kyzer) Beard and Tharp Richard and Nellie Nora Ramsey; his brother, William Beard Jr.; and his niece, Bethany Cross.

His funeral will be held at New Life Pentecostal Church in Vilonia on September 10, 2026. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m., and the funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. His burial will be at Cypress Valley Cemetery.

Jody’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends who knew and loved him.
