Joan Butler

Joan D. Butler, age 68, of Pine Bluff, died, Wednesday, June 5, 2013. She was born July 31, 1944 in Brownsville, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Kenneth T. Edens and Sunshine Alieen Griffin Edens. Mrs. Butler graduated from Cotton Plant High School. She enjoyed reading, being a mother and loved her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Butler was a member of DAR and Order of Eastern Star. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Mrs. Butler was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Butler. Mrs. Butler is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Misty Butler of Watson Chapel, Shane Butler, Dustin and Ashley Butler, all of Rison; two daughters and son-in-law, Penny and Ronald Crook of Jefferson and Candy Butler of Rison; six grandchildren, Tabitha Crook, Traver Butler, Allysa Butler, Kaylie Butler, Annabella Butler and Kenlee Butler. Funeral services are 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Buie Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870) 325-6216.
