Jesse Glenn Daring Sr., 69, of Vilonia, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on May 17, 1957, in Savannah, Georgia, Jesse lived a life defined by hard work, resilience, laughter, and love for his family. He retired as a crane operator after spending decades traveling across the country building bridges that connected communities. He took great pride in his work, and the bridges he helped build remain a lasting testament to his dedication and craftsmanship.
Although his career took him across the country, Jesse always carried a piece of the Georgia coast with him. He never lost his love for the beach and found peace on the water with a fishing pole in his hand.
Jesse was known for his larger-than-life personality, quick wit, and unforgettable sense of humor. He never met a stranger and had a gift for making people laugh. Beneath his playful nature was a kind and generous heart, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer encouragement. His warmth and joyful spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Above all, Jesse treasured his family. He shared many years of love and life with his devoted wife, Tena, creating a home filled with memories, laughter, and unwavering support. Together they built a blended family that meant the world to him, and he was proud of each of his children and grandchildren.
Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, Grace Vaughn Daring and Allan Gilbert Daring Jr., and by his beloved son, Jesse Glenn Daring Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tena; his children, Rebecca Saxon (John), Amanda Daring, Brent Ford (Alisha), Jessica Daring (Josiah), Skylar Haines (Hyoseung), Savannah Daring, Gabriella Daring, and Dylan Daring (Julianna); his cherished grandchildren; and many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Cole Funeral Home, 777 Main Street, Conway, Arkansas 72032.
Though he will be deeply missed, Jesse's laughter, stories, kindness, and unwavering love for his family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
