Jerry Franklin Person
April 16, 1936 — June 2, 2017
Jerry F. Person, 81, of Searcy, passed away June 2, 2017 at his residence. He was born April 16, 1936 at Searcy to the late Simon and Ruth Roberts Person.
Mr. Person was the owner of White County Metal Works and was a member of the Searcy Masonic Lodge.
He was married to Allada Dean Person in 1952 at Searcy and she passed away in 1997.
He is survived by one son, Jerry Michael Person in Searcy; daughter, Cheryl Person of Porum, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Michael Dean Person (Casie) and Jay Benny Person (Stacy) all of Searcy and Jamie Marie Chrzanowski (Dan) of Aurora, Colorado; six great grandchildren; and one brother, Leon Person (Sherry) of Searcy.
Following his request, his body will be cremated and the family will have a memorial service at a later date. Lasting memorials may be made to Arkansas Sheriff’s Youth Ranch in Batesville.
