Janie Lea Shaw

Janie Lea Shaw, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on January 17, 2026, at the age of 69. She was born on October 13, 1956, and devoted her life to her family and her faith. Janie was preceded in death by her parents, Kelsie and Bobbie Brady, her brother Dickey Brady, and her grandson, Drake Shaw. Their memories remain intertwined with Janie's, as they were deeply loved and will be fondly remembered.

Janie was married to her loving husband, John Wayne Shaw, and together they built a life filled with love and cherished memories. She was the proud mother of three sons: Casey Finch and his wife Amanda, Craft Shaw, and Lee Finch of Conway, Also, a brother Matt Brady of Conway. Her family also grew with the addition of daughters-in-law Amanda New, Kristi Finch Hopkins and Kyli Finch, along with a bonus daughter, Charity Estrada.

As a grandmother, Janie embraced her role with exuberance, enjoying precious moments with her grandchildren: KiLee Finch, Justin Shaw, Aaden Shaw, Darren Finch, Blake Finch, Logan Finch, Chloe New, Levi Finch, Zane Finch, and a host of adopted grandkids. Each grandchild held a special place in her heart and contributed to her legacy of love and nurturing.

Janie found great joy in her faith and was an active attendee at Sharon Freewill Baptist Church. Her life was enriched by her commitment to her church community and her belief in the values that she held dear.

Friends and family are invited to honor Janie's life and legacy during visitation at Conway Cowboy Church in Conway, Arkansas, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on January 30, 2026. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held at the same location on January 31, 2026, at 2:00 PM, with a gathering until 3:00 PM.
