James Arthur Warren

James Arthur Warren, 87, passed away on October 12, 2026. He was born on January 28, 1939.

Mr. Warren served in the Air National Guard. He was also a Shriner and a 32° Mason, and he found lasting enjoyment in woodworking, gardening, and fishing. These interests reflected a life shaped by service, fellowship, skilled hands, and an appreciation for time spent outdoors and with meaningful pursuits.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Warren; his mother, Vina Vencil; and his wife, Lynda Warren.

James leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory. He is survived by his brother, Dale A. Warren (Elizabeth). He is also survived by his son, James C. Warren; his daughters, Amy Fisher (Joe), and Suzan Rand (Glen). His memory will also be treasured by his grandchildren, Colin Fisher, Garrett Fisher, Rebecca Beaver (D.B)., and Kimberly Rand. May their memories of him bring comfort and peace in the days ahead.

Visitation will be held on October 15, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Buie & Cole Funeral Home-Sheridan, 1301 S. Rock, Sheridan, Arkansas 72150. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel. Interment will follow at Center Campground Cemetery in Prague, AR.
