James William Launius

James William Launius, 80, of Grapevine, Arkansas, passed away Sunday November 9th, 2025. Born on September 14th, 1945, in Tinsman, Arkansas, to the late Andrew Launius and Lessis May Nix, James spent 20 years as an Aircraft Mechanic for the United States Air Force. He was a retired mechanic for the Sheridan bus shop, and had an avid love for fishing.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of over 30 years, Vera Launius, of Grapevine; daughter, Vickie Sullivant, of Grapevine, as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister.
