James Ray Boyd

James "Ray" Boyd, 74, of Austin passed away at home on May 23, 2026. He was born on August 21, 1951 to James E. Boyd and Mildred Turner Boyd Wilson in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Ray was passionate about loving the Lord, taking care of his family, deer hunting, working (over 50 years in the concrete business), and NASCAR races. He enjoyed playing dominoes, watching television especially the Andy Griffith Show reruns, The Price is Right, Looney Toon Cartoons, and drinking hot fudge milkshakes from Sonic.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents James E. Boyd and Mildred Turner Boyd Wilson.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 33 years, Beverly; his children, Zach (Raven) and Codi; his grandchildren, Luke and Reece; his sisters, Ann Clarke (Jim), Becky Nixon, and Jessica Clarke.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2026at Cole Funeral Home in Conway, with cremation to follow.
