James Levi Baker

James Levi Baker was born on October 1, 1952, in Newport, Arkansas to Roy and Francis Baker. He passed away on December 25, 2025, in Searcy, Arkansas.

James was a man of many passions and forever cherished the moments spent with family and friends. He attended college at Arkansas State University.

James found joy in the great outdoors, often enjoying camping and fishing, as well as spending quality time with family. He also loved visiting all the flea markets he could find.

He is survived by his two sons: Jacob Baker (Jessica) of Conway, and Mike Bell of San Antonio, TX, his grandchildren: Madilynne Baker of Springdale, Caleb Baker of Conway, and Emma Lynne Bell of Fayetteville, Arkansas, his sisters: Ellen Jewel Smith (Gary) of Marshall, TX, Robin Baker of Cypress, Texas, Patty Lockamy (Kent) of Lakeland, FL, and Brenda Mann (Alan) of Laveen, Arizona, His brothers: Roy Baker (Anna) of Wichita, Kansas, Benny Baker (Kathy) of Gladwin, MI, and numerous nieces and nephews that will carry forward his memory.

James was preceded by his beloved wife, Lynne Marie, his son, Dale James, and his parents. A memorial service will be held on December 30, 2025, at First Baptist Church, 611 Van Buren St, Judsonia, AR 72081, beginning at 2:00 PM. The family invites all who knew James to celebrate his life and cherish the memories they shared.
