Ila Faye Jordan

Ila Faye Jordan, age 99, of Prattsville passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at her home. She was born August 30, 1918 in Prattsville, the daughter of the late Henderson Burns Stuckey and Mattie Matthews Stuckey. Mrs. Jordan was a member of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Clifton Mooney and Halton Jordan; son, Bobby Joe Mooney; grandson, Bradley Mooney; and great-grandsons, Cody and Jon Vann.

Left to cherish her memory, sons, J. Dean Mooney of Malvern, Darrell Ray Jordan and wife, Louise of Prattsville, and Terry Jordan and wife, Cindy of Prattsville; daughters, Linda Womble and husband, Eugene of Prattsville and Wanda Steed and husband, Melvin of Hot Springs; ten grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan with Brother Don Goodman officiating. Interment will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, November 10, 2017 at Buie Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Lance McDougal, A.J. Phillips, Jason Nolen, Josh Swayze, Dallas Jordan, Zach Batchelor, Wayne Holiman, and Roger Holiman. Honorary pallbearers are Tony Fitzhugh, Kenneth Stuckey, Ronnie Vann, and Dwight Stuckey. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan.
