Helen Mosley Watson

Helen Watson, age 90 of Pine Bluff, died, Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was born October 30, 1918 in Tinsman, a daughter of the late Joe Collin Mosley and Goldie Leanna Kitchens Mosley. Mrs. Watson worked for White Auto Fisher before her retirement and was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Pine Bluff. She was also preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Watson is survived by her daughter, Sandra Drennan of Sheridan; three grandchildren, Melanie Bolen, Edgar Roupe and Sylvia Jackson; six great grandchildren, Jason Allen Bolen, Timothy Guy Bolen, Nathan Charles Bolen, Robert Dylan Roupe, Tyler Takoda Roupe and Jewel Leigh Roupe.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 16, 2009 at Buie Funeral Chapel in Rison with Reverend Tony Lawhon officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., prior to service. Arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870) 325-6216.
