Gladys Fay Powers, born on March 19, 1942, in Leola, Arkansas, peacefully passed away on June 2, 2025, in White Hall, Arkansas. She will be fondly remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
Gladys was a woman of many talents and interests. Her passion for cooking brought joy to her family and friends, and her skills in cleaning reflected her diligent nature. She found serenity in nature, enjoying activities such as fishing and camping, where she created beautiful memories with her loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her father, Brian, her mother, Ruby, her beloved daughter, Deborah Fay McCann, and her husband, Curtis Powers. Their memory continues to resonate in the hearts of her family.
Gladys is survived by her cherished son, James Glenn McCann, daughters Glenda Diane Knight and Judy Holly, along with her husband Phil. She adored her grandchildren, Miranda Holly, Mark Johnson and his wife Nikki, Nicholas Holly, and Christy Phillips and her husband Chance. Her legacy also lives on through her great-grandchildren, Bryce, Weston, Dylan, and Fisher Johnson, who were a source of immense joy in her life.
Gladys Fay Powers leaves behind a remarkable legacy filled with love and cherished memories, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
