Gary Don Williams, 79, of Kensett went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 9, 2026. He was born August 26, 1946, in Kensett, Arkansas to the late Robert L. and Laura L. (Watson) Williams. Mr. Williams was a veteran of the United States Air Force and spent 35 years employed with Matthews Corporation in Searcy. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, reading, western movies, coin collecting and playing Solitaire on the computer. In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife, Helen L. Williams; son, Donald Cook; sisters, Oliva Bird, Jeanette Williams, Johnnie Williams; brothers, Paul Willams and Robert Williams. Gary will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, pops, brother and friend to many.
Left to carry on his legacy are his children, David Williamsof Kensett, Melissa Willams of Nevada, Nancy Crouch of Searcy, Beth Jones (Curtis) of Illinois, David Cook (Marla) of Judsonia and Lisa Hughes (Paul) of Romance. Other survivors include siblings, Marie Falcinelli of West Point, Gerald Williams (Peggy) of Judsonia, Mike Williams (Debra) of Florida, Jeffrey Willams of Kensett; eleven grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Funeral services will be 11:00a.m., Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Cole Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Kensett Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 10:00a.m.
Tommy Falcinelli, Robert Falcinelli, Jeff Williams, Dustin Holeman, Chad Cates will serve as pallbearers.
