Faye Bernice Beason

Faye Bernice Beason age 87 of Alma, Arkansas died Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Sparks Health System in Fort Smith. She was born March 21, 1921 in Monticello, a daughter of the late Floyd and Ida Bell Kimmel Jenkinson. Mrs. Beason was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Alma. She was also preceded in death by her husband Winburn Pat Beason.

Mrs. Beason is survived by two daughters, Anne Handley of Costa Rica, Debra Lee of Alma; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm. Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Buie Chapel in Rison with Reverend Don Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers are Bobby Tucker, Robert Lee, John Blanchard, Jim Garcia, John Lunsford and Michael Fourland. Arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870)325-6216.
