Douglas Eugene Roberts (Boog), 56, of Kensett, passed from this life June 27, 2015 at his residence. Born March 6, 1959 in Bakersfield, California to the late Robert Lee and Vina Geraldine (Prince) Roberts. He was also preceded in death by a nephew, Jeff Koon.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Carolyn (Andrews) Roberts; children, Shawna (Brandon) Turner, Kade (Kim) Young, and Jeremiah Kidd; grandchildren, Raven, Matt, Khloe, Braden, Kalyn, Ethan, and one on the way, Sharon; sisters, Shirley Hagood and Martha Koon; brother, Harold (Huck) Roberts (Kathie); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 1 at the Country Barn on North and Buffalo Street in Kensett with Pastor Terry Russell officiating. Burial will follow at Kensett Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Care. To celebrate Boog’s memory, he’d want everyone to go fishing!
