Dorothy Kathleen Faver

Dorothy Kathleen Faver, age 90, of Pasadena, Texas, formerly of Woodlawn, died Saturday, November 17, 2012. She was born August 6, 1922, in Cleveland County, a daughter of the late Thomas Alex Calvert and Margaret R. Vent Calvert. Mrs. Faver was a homemaker and a Missionary Baptist. She enjoyed making ceramics and painting. Mrs. Faver was also preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Faver; two brothers, Bart Calvert and Leon Calvert; one sister, Beulah Greenlee. Mrs. Faver is survived by two sons, Larry Faver of Houston, Texas and Gary Faver of Colorado Springs, Colorado; eight grandchildren, Mary Pitsky, Rose Meyer, David Faver, Makayla Faver, Ryan Faver, Cheyanne Faver, Jessica Faver and Ashley Faver; twelve great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 23, 2012 at Buie Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery in Woodlawn.
