Dorothy Cole

Dorothy L. Cole, age 89, of Rowell, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, August 4, 2013. She was born September 12, 1923 in Warren, a daughter of the late Ben and Mollie Hunt Level. Mrs. Cole retired from Burlington Industries, was a homemaker and a Baptist. She enjoyed farming, gardening, raising cows and cooking. Mrs. Cole loved and provided for her family. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Cole; three sons, Jerry Cole, Larry Cole, and Billy Cole; daughter, Judy Stagg; grandson, Michael Cole; great great grandson, Hunter Deal; eight brothers and sisters. Mrs. Cole is survived by eight grandchildren, Angela Berg, Timothy Cole, Jimmy Cole, David Cole, Jeff Stagg, Joey Cole, Jennifer Stagg and Jason Cole; twelve great grandchildren, and one great great grandson. Graveside services are 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Rowell Cemetery with Reverend Garry Wiles officiating. Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Buie Funeral Home.
