David Michael "Mike" Thomas

David “Mike” Michael Thomas, 69, of Searcy went to the loving arms of his Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025. He was born on December 23rd, 1955, to his father Dee W. Thomas and his mother Dimple M. Thomas of White County.

Mike was a man of simple joys; he found peace in the woods and pride in his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved the outdoors and could usually be found hunting on a deer stand or fishing on the water. There was always a memory to make and a future story to tell.

Mike was a minister to many over his many decades as a pastor but was a family man at heart. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Terri, of Searcy; two sons Jeremy Thomas (Amy) of Searcy; Justin Thomas (Chasity) of Searcy; four grandchildren, Austin (Jacque) Thomas of Searcy, Tanner (Maegan) Thomas of Searcy, Hannah Thomas of Searcy and Jobe Thomas of Searcy; three great grandchildren, Brylin, Emmy Kaye and Benjamin of Searcy; his mother, Dimple Thomas and sister Chrystal Rayborn of Searcy. He is also survived by his brothers in law, Dennis (Marguerite) Wortham, Jimmy (Onda) Wortham and Billy (Debbie) Wortham, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Candy Clevenger.
