Dale Neill Mcdonald, Sr.

Dale Neill McDonald was born on February 21, 1951, and passed away on November 30, 2019 in Calico Rock, AR.

Commonly going by "Neill", he was born to James Shaw McDonald and Claradell McDonald. He graduated from Pine Bluff High School, where he played football and basketball; and then attended Southern Arkansas University and The University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He graduated from The University of Arkansas with a Bachelors of Arts on May 17, 1975. Neill attended the United Methodist Church of Sheridan, AR. He enjoyed a lifelong love of hunting and fishing. Additionally, he loved politics and was a long time active member of the Arkansas Democratic Party.

Neill is survived by his brother Mack McDonald of Irving, TX; two sons, Dale “Chip” McDonald Jr. and his wife Jamie of Calico Rock, AR; James “Jess” McDonald and his wife Sheri of Pflugerville, TX, and three grandchildren, Austin, Michelle and Shiloh.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 6, 2019 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Sheridan Cemetery.
