Crystal Renee Donaldson

Christie Crowson Donaldson went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 19, 2026, at the age of 54. She passed away peacefully at her home in Woodlawn, surrounded by her family. Christie was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished Grammy, daughter, sister, and friend. She loved all the small things in life and viewed everything that came her way as a blessing. Though her family grieves her passing, they find comfort in knowing she is at peace in the presence of the Lord. She was preceded in death and now reunited with her grandparents, Roland and Shirley Thomas of Pine Bluff, and Mary Jane and Lilburn Crowson of Prattsville.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Donaldson of Woodlawn; her children, Alex Donaldson of Woodlawn, Callie Donaldson of Dallas, Texas, Katie (Connor) Clemons of Pine Bluff, and stepdaughter Taylor Frey of Ponte Vedra, Florida; her honorary children, Dustin (Lauren) West of Falls Church, Virginia, and Caty Rougeau of Little Rock; and her grandchildren, Austynn Donaldson, Eva Ortega, Ollie and Teddy West. She is also survived by her parents, Tony and Vickie Crowson of Fayetteville; her sister, Tisha (Tom) Broyles of Fayetteville; her brother, Andy (Missy) Crowson of Panama City; her honorary sister, Jamie (Brent) Terrell of White Hall; and her nieces and nephews, Franco Broyles, Jordan Hallenbeck, Beau Broyles, Thomas Broyles, Teryn Smades, Ryan Gammel, and Brittany Crowson, along with many extended family members and friends.

Pallbearers include David Norton, Steve Roberts, Robert Rushing, Herschel McCoy, Danny Rasor, and Eric Warden.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Buie & Cole Funeral Home in Rison, Arkansas. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Center Missionary Baptist Church, with a graveside service to follow.
