Cladie Alene Golden Thompson

Cladie Alene Golden Thompson, age 87, of New Edinburg, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home, Monday, November 2, 2026. She was a retired teacher at the ECLC Child Learning Center in Warren. Born in Kingsland, Arkansas, February 6, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Leftridge and Dolly Culligan Golden. She was married for 49 years to the late James Willard Thompson of New Edinburg, who preceded her in death on June 11, 2004.

She is survived by 7 children, James William Thompson and wife, Deborah of Benton, Jimmy DonThompson and wife, Jo Anne of Auburn, Kansas, Ronald Dale Thompson of New Edinburg, Teresa Lynn Thompson and Don Miller of Warren, Nacole Alene Thompson and Tim Payne of New Edinburg, Christopher Zane Thompson and Christopher Foltz Thompson, both of New Edinburg, several grandchildren and great grandchildren; four sisters, Cletis Mae Cullins of Rye, Susie Robinson of Warren, Pauline Davis of Kingsland and Judy Caroline Hayes and husband, Johnny of Warren.

Pallbearers are Richard Foltz Thompson, Dolly Thompson, Chase Bradford, Bert Sigafus III, Jessica McPherson and Jarrod Thompson. Honorary pallbearers are Kendra Thompson, Tyler Thompson, Jack McPherson and Will Sigafus.
