Chris Henry Wegner, age 80, of Rison passed away Friday, October 21, 2016 in Little Rock. He was born August 14, 1936 in Hereford, Texas to the late Chris and Martha Medley Wegner. Mr. Wegner was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was employed with IBM as a Computer Technician. Chris was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lee Wegner.
He is survived by his wife, Mattie Nell Wegner of Rison; son, Buddy Wegner of Fayetteville, Arkansas; three daughters, Pat Dye of Gentry, Arkansas, Cindy Wegner of Lowell, Arkansas, Debbie Wegner of Ft. Denaud, Florida; brother, Fred Wegner of Kingsland; sister, Lucy Gillespie of Tulsa, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 28, 2016 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home & Crematory.
