Charlotte “Charlie” Kay Ross, 74, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on September 1, 1951, in Okemah, Oklahoma, Charlotte lived a life filled with love, laughter, and compassion.
A devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend, Charlotte was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Douglas Ross. She is survived by her children, Charles Robinson, Jr. and Rebecca Barrons; her sister, Shirley Canuet; and her brother, Gene Fuller.
Charlotte’s career in the cosmetology industry reflected her creative spirit and her gift for helping others feel confident and cared for. Those who knew her will remember her radiant smile, her infectious laugh, and her unwavering faith. A woman of deep devotion, she prayed daily and spent time studying her Bible, finding peace and purpose in her beliefs.
An avid pet lover, Charlotte opened her heart and home to countless animals, often assisting in fostering puppies and caring for those in need. She found joy in puzzles and cherished the independence that defined her life.
Fittingly, Charlotte’s ashes will be spread in nature—close to the animals she loved so dearly. Her warmth and kindness will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
