Cecil Earl Thorne

Cecil Earl Thorne, age 88, of Kensett went to be with his Lord on November 2, 2025. He was born January 13, 1937 in Houston, Texas to the late Robert Earl Thorne and Josie Mae Thorne. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Patricia Thorne, his daughter Marie Weatherhogg, and his grandson Carlton McCracken. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his son, Robert Thorne and his wife Lori of Bald Knob, AR; his daughter, Teresa Phillips and her husband Todd of Kensett, AR; grandchildren, Michael McCracken of Kensett, AR, William Delagarza of Griffthville, AR, Bobby Delagarza and his wife Stacey of Griffthville, AR, Matthew Phillips and his wife April of Searcy, AR, Patricia Middleton and her husband Justin of Bald Knob, AR, Jenna Bowls of Kensett, AR, and Celia Jennings and her husband Drew of Searcy, AR, great-grandchildren Katelyn, Mason, Hunter, Levi, Charlee, Sadie, Liam, Emma, Evelyn, Anna, Lucas, Isabelle, Colton, Lawson, Abigail, Madelyn, Stormy, Alyssa and Hunter.

Memorial services will be 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Cole Funeral Home & Crematory in Kensett. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
